Dianchi Lake
Dianchi Lake is the biggest freshwater lake in Yunnan.It is also the sixth biggest lake in China. The lake is crescent-shaped, 24 miles in length and 8 miles in width. The scenery around the lake is very beautiful.There are four hills surround the lake ,making a picturesque landscape.You can enjoy the beauty from a boat.It’s really a relaxation.

Stone Forest
Stone Forest is 126 kilometers far away from Kunming.It is a great landscape formed by all kinds of
shaped rocks.It’s a wonderful land of rocks. The Stone Forest covers an area of more than three hundred square kilometers.For the rocky roads,you should wear light and comfortable shoes.

World Horticultural Exposition Garden
Located in Jindian Scenic Spot, World Horticultural Exposition Garden is about 6 kilometers from the city center.It is a first-class Grand View Garden with typical Chinese featuresand local Yunnan characteristics.The World Horticultural Exposition Garden held Kunming International Horticulture Exposition in 1999.

Health & safety:
Kunming is a very safe city in China.You can have a great time during your Kunming travel.The only thing you should pay attention to is that take care when you are near the train and long-distance bus stations.There may be some thieves who will cut your bag and steal your wallet.
Money & costs:
You can change cheques, foreign currency and offter cash advances on credit cards in Bank of China(Zhōngguó Yínháng) which located in Renmin Donglu and open at9am-noon & 2-5pm.The branches of Bank of China is on Dongfeng Xilu and Huancheng Nanlu. You can also use the ATM which is very convenient.
Visas:
The PSB(Public security bureau) is located on Jinxing road and open on 9-5pm Mon-Friday.If you have a visa issue,you can go there and seek help.
